Monika Adamczyk has many years of experience in information technology, privacy and cybersecurity. Currently, she works as a cybersecurity expert in the Policy and Development Unit at the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). Prior to joining ENISA, she worked as a data protection expert at the Ministry of Digital Affairs / Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland (MC / KPRM) and at the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), where she contributed to work of the EDPB Technology Subgroup. Her other professional experience includes working as a DPO at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Poland as well as a project manager and a software engineer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), US federal government agencies and many commercial organizations, where she managed and delivered more than 15 ICT projects. She holds a M.S. degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University in Boston, MA (USA).
