Piotr Drobek is an advisor to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

Since the beginning of his work at the Polish Data Protection Authority in 2000 he has, inter alia, participated in the work of EU bodies such as the Article 29 Working Party and the European Data Protection Board.

His scientific interests include personal data protection, privacy protection and legal aspects of cyberspace.
